Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Tracy has lived in many places in the Eastern U.S. from Baton Rouge, LA, to New York City, but finally settled in Lake Placid in 2012 with her husband and three children. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in Mass Communications, Tracy began her professional career in advertising in New York, NY. Before moving to Lake Placid, Tracy spent 11 years working as Creative Director for the global fine paper company, Mohawk Fine Papers in Albany, NY. In 2013, Tracy launched a design and marketing firm, Smith & Co. Creative and is currently the Head of Brand for the Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games. With an intuitive design sense and a life-long love of the arts, Tracy is passionate about making art accessible to all.
