Tammy Loewy

Tammy Loewy graduated from The University of Buffalo with a degree in Psychology in 1995. She moved to the Adirondacks in 1997 to pursue living in the most beautiful place in the world. Since then she has become immersed in the world of local and organic foods, opening up Green Goddess Natural Market in 2007. This is the same year she and her husband Nick built a house and their daughter Zarela was born. Tammy believes being in service to the Adirondack community creates a richer landscape for herself, her family, residents and visitors to the park. The Lake Placid Center for the Arts is a place that values community and invests in expanding cultural opportunities for its patrons. Tammy is grateful to have the opportunity to support the LPCA staff in its mission. Tammy has been chairperson for the Adirondack Global Arts Festival. She also sits on the High Peaks Education Board in Keene, Keene Youth Commission, and the High Peaks Farmers Market Committee.
