Sarah Galvin is a native of Lake Placid. She received her BA in anthropology from Hartwick College. After college, she moved to the west coast but happily returned to Lake Placid in 2005. Sarah and her husband Marc, purchased The Bookstore Plus in 2007 and are proud to be second-generation booksellers. In 2021 she helped create a book wholesale and distribution company, Blue Line Book Exchange, that services stores throughout the Adirondack Park. Sarah has served on the advisory board and board of directors of the New Engalnd Independent Booksellers Association, The Lake Placid Horse Show and was a commissioner on the Lake Placid Development Commision. Sarah grew up attending AfterSchool Workshops at the LPCA and loves the variety of programming that is offered.
