Cheryl Maid

Cheryl Maid adopted weaving as her primary creative outlet upon retiring to the Adirondacks. She has explored a wide range of weaving techniques over the course of her 15 years at the loom.Rag weaving is one of her favorites. As a daughter of Depression Era parents, she was instilled with a respect for stretching the usefulness of “old stuff.” Rag weaving keeps her stash of castoff shirts, neckties, linens etc. in check and provides endless upcycling opportunities.
