Watercolor Series Part 3: Indian Head

This June, join renowned artist Sarah Yeoman for a series of 3 watercolor classes focusing on wild and scenic subjects - this class is the final session of the series!

Recommended Supplies:

  • Watercolor paper, preferably cold pressed (12x16 or 14x20)
  • Paint - cerulean blue, ultramarine blue, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, perylene green, perm rose, cad yellow, paynes gray, lavender
  • Firm board for taping paper to
  • Masking tape
  • 1 round watercolor brush #10 or #12
  • 1 small round #2 or #4
  • Masking fluid
  • Small plastic container for water
  • Paper towels
  • Hair dryer
  • Water spray bottle
  • Image printed and sketched on your paper

Lake Placid Center for the Arts

The Lake Placid Center for the Arts is a year-round performing and visual Arts Facility.  Located in the Adirondack Park of Northern New York, the LPCA consistently presents arts of the highest caliber in music, dance and theatre performances, film exhibitions and visual arts presentations. 

In addition, the Arts Center provides special arts-in education programs, workshops and residencies for aspiring and renowned artists.

The Arts Center is the home of the Lake Placid School of Ballet, LPCA Children's Theatre, Community Theatre Players, as well as the Summer home of the Lake Placid Sinfonietta.
