Mondays, November 2, 9, 16 & 23, 6:00-7:30pm EST
Join professional commercial/fine art photographer Thom Williams of Troy, NY in exploring the basics of photography. The primary goal of this class is to give students a clear understanding of the exposure triangle and the appropriate use of shutter speed, aperture and ISO to aid in the creation of images. Students will also learn about many of the overall functions of their camera, different meter modes as well as focus modes. Classes will consist of a daily topic which students will then put in to practice in an out of class assignment that will be reviewed in the following session. This class is a solid preparation for "Intermediate Photography."
Students should have their own camera for this class.
(Please note: This class is being offered in conjunction with other Art Centers in the state. Participants will be from around New York State and not limited to local LPCA students.)
