Summer Camp Frequently Asked Questions
We're here to make sure you have all the information you need to send your student off to camp with confidence! Please reach out if your question isn't answered below. Contact Anya at anya@lakeplacidarts.org.
What does "socially-distanced" mean?
Class sizes for all camps are restricted to 10 or fewer students. Camp activities will be set up to provide 6ft between students and employees will be required to wear masks any time that they must come within 6ft of a camper.
By when do I have to commit/sign-up?
Registration closes for all camps one week before the first day of camp at 9am.
What is your refund policy?
• Contact us at least 6 business days before the camp start date, and we will refund the cost of the program minus a 15% enrollment fee.
• Contact us 5 business days or less before the camp start date, and we will offer class credit only.
Call us at 518.523.2512 or email anya@lakeplacidarts.org to request a refund.
Does my child have to wear a mask?
Students are encouraged to wear masks at all times with the exception of activities which aren't possible with a mask on (e.g. drinking water). We recommend that each student bring a mask with them; we will also have some on hand for any students who need them.
Are you doing any special health screening?
Each morning during camp, families will be required to complete a questionnaire regarding exposure to COVID-19 before students are admitted into class.
How does drop-off/pick-up work?
We will email each family specific instructions for drop-off and pick-up. There will be signs on campus to let you know where to go to safely drop your student off and pick them up at the end of each day.
What are your cleaning protocols?
We are adhering to all hygiene, cleaning and disinfection requirements from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Health. Appropriate hand washing will be required for students and employees while at camp. All students will also be required to use hand sanitizer when they come into class and throughout the session.
