David Parsons, "one of the best choreographers around at drawing out the emotional complexity of pop music" (The New York Times), brings his company of amazingly athletic dancers to the Lake Placid Center for the Arts for a rousing preview of Mr. Withers, his new work set to the music of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bill Withers, the singer/songwriter of such iconic songs as Ain't No Sunshine and Just The Two of Us. The performance, taking place on Friday, September 2, will also feature the stroboscopic masterpiece Caught and more Parsons classics.

The Parsons public appearances will highlight the company's three-week residency at this beautiful venue located in the Adirondack Park of Northern New York. Stayed tuned for opportunities to take dance classes with the company or check out David Parsons rehearsing his new work while the company is in residence from August 15-September 4.
