Wednesday, July 7 at 7 PM (Lake Placid Center for the Arts)
"America the Beautiful" continues the celebration of the July 4th Holiday with selections that are patriotic and beloved. Enjoy a program that includes American Salute, Armed Forces Medley along with favorite Sousa Marches and some light selections from musical theater. This concert is generously underwritten by the Victor Herbert Foundation.

Wednesday, July 14 at 7 PM (Lake Placid Horse Show Pavilion)
This concert titled "Music that Makes Me Dance" will be marked by works with rhythm, swing and style. From the Can Can to the Dance of the Hours to the vibrant tunes from West Side Story, your toes will be tapping the whole concert through!

Wednesday, July 21 at 7 PM (Lake Placid Horse Show Pavilion)
"Ah, the Theatre!" Is a concert that celebrates the music that brings the stories on the stage to life. Classic works by Irving Berlin and George M. Cohen are featured along with more blockbuster recent show tunes including music from Wicked and Frozen.

Wednesday, July 28 at 7 PM (Lake Placid Horse Show Pavilion)
There couldn't be a better place to enjoy a concert titled "In Praise of Mother Nature". Let selections like Autumn Leaves, Stardust, and Stormy Weather fill your ears with interpretations of the beautiful world around you! This concert is generously sponsored by Flink, Maswick Law PLLC.

Wednesday, Aug. 4 at 7 PM (Lake Placid Horse Show Pavilion)
"Love is in the Air" celebrates that central emotion so eloquently portrayed in music, prose and verse. This concert will include selections from some of the most famous love stories on the planet including, Phantom of the Opera, Guys and Dolls and Madama Butterfly.

Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 7 PM (Lake Placid Horse Show Pavilion)
"Continental Cuisine" will transport you on a musical journey to places far and wide. Enjoy a trip to the halls of Downton Abbey, the world of the Barber of Seville, and to the deep forest from the Tales from the Vienna Woods without packing a bag! This concert is generously sponsored by National Bank & Trust.

Lake Placid Center for the Arts

The Lake Placid Center for the Arts is a year-round performing and visual Arts Facility.  Located in the Adirondack Park of Northern New York, the LPCA consistently presents arts of the highest caliber in music, dance and theatre performances, film exhibitions and visual arts presentations. 

In addition, the Arts Center provides special arts-in education programs, workshops and residencies for aspiring and renowned artists.

The Arts Center is the home of the Lake Placid School of Ballet, LPCA Children's Theatre, Community Theatre Players, as well as the Summer home of the Lake Placid Sinfonietta.
