Side by Side by Side truly showcases the importance of collaboration and the influence we may have on one another by sharing the work of three artists who have made significant contributions to the art culture of the Adirondacks. The LPCA and BluSeed Studios are proud to share this collection both in Lake Placid and in Saranac Lake to make these artists’ extraordinary legacy accessible to even more members of the community.

About the Artists
Annoel Krider -
Annoel was born into an artistic family with a mother who was an Arts & Humanities Professor and a Painter and a father who was an Architect, Historian and Pianist. She is a tapestry weaver, stick sculptor turned painter. Annoel studied weaving in Cuernavaca, Mexico as well as with The Scheur Tapestry Studio in New York City & Mary Lou Higgins, Weaver. She has a BA in Art Education and is the recipient of the New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship and the New York Council on the Arts Sponsored Work Grant. Annoel is represented at galleries in New Mexico, Washington and Pennsylvania and has work in the collections of IBM, Robin Williams, The Museum on Blue Mt. Lake and more. Some exhibitions include: Fire on Main One Woman Show, Soap Lake, Washington; Mayo Clinic One Woman Show, Phoenix, Arizona; Year of the Horse Show, Visions West Gallery, Livingston, Montana; Tapestry and Clay Show, Elizabeth Fortner Gallery, Santa Barbara, California; Ancient Inspiration Show, Carlyn Gallery, New York City, New York; American Craft Council Craft Fairs, W. Springfield, Massachusetts & Baltimore, Maryland.
Cree McDougal Scudder -
Cree has been showcased in many group art exhibitions, including Art-by-the-Sea at the Vero Beach Art Museum in January of 2018, 2019 and 2022. Her newest gallery invitation and acceptance is with Gallery 14 in Vero Beach, FL.
Cree attended the Philadelphia Academy of Art in 1995, and received a BS in Journalism from the University of Florida in 1974.
As an active art enthusiast for many years, she has loved the Adirondacks and enjoyed the summer opportunities to connect with new friends and meet up with old friends and more artists!
Cree is delighted to be included in this wonderful gallery sharing her work with her Lake Placid artist friends Annoel Krider and Judy Scammel in "Side by Side by Side" at LPCA, and shortly heading to BluSeed to again share our group show!
Judy Scammell -
Judy is a native of the Adirondacks and a frequent visitor of Montana and Wyoming. She has always had a great reverence for nature, and her work is deeply inspired by wild animals, wildlife, and the great wilderness. Judy focuses on capturing the spiritual power of the animals she paints and creating a connection where the animal can make its awareness and presence known in her paintings. Her work is in private collections in Lake Placid, Palm Beach, and Santa Fe and she is represented by the Visions West Galleries in Colorado and Montana.
