The Arts as Catalyst: Connecting Culture, Economy, and Community
Mid Atlantic Arts Executive Director Juan Souki examines the national funding landscape for arts and culture—where we stand today and what we can anticipate moving forward—as the field continues to adapt in today’s dynamic economic and social climate. Juan will offer a national perspective on how the arts intersect with broader economic and community development efforts, and why a vibrant cultural sector is essential to a healthy society.
Mid Atlantic Arts is one of six Regional Arts Organizations founded by the National Endowment for the Arts. With a mission to strengthen and support the arts across state and regional lines, Mid Atlantic Arts plays a vital role in shaping the cultural ecosystem of the United States.
