Safely Visiting LPCA In Person

For the health and safety of our community, the LPCA is adhering to the following COVID-19 health and safety plan.

Feel free to reach out with any questions: or 518.523.2512.

Given the variable nature of the pandemic, the LPCA's health and safety procedures will be based upon Essex County's COVID Transmission Rate on the morning of your performance.

HIGH Transmission

  • Proof of vaccination required prior to entry (hard copy or digital image).
  • Masking required in all areas of the facility.
  • Concessions and bar will be closed.

SUBSTANTIAL Transmission

  • Proof of vaccination required prior to entry (hard copy or digital image).
  • Masking required in all areas of the facility.
  • Concessions and bar will be open. Items may be consumed in the lobby (but not in the theatre). When removing the face covering to eat or drink, please allow a distance of six feet from other audience members and replace the face covering as soon as possible.

MODERATE Transmission

  • Masks are required in all areas of the facility. Vaccinated patrons will have the option to provide proof of vaccination which will allow them to remain unmasked throughout the facility.
  • Concessions and bar will be open.

LOW Transmission

  • No additional safety procedures are in effect - although we ask any unvaccinated patron to wear a mask in all areas of the facility.

Gallery @ LPCA

While Essex County Transmisison rates are moderate or above (and/or when there is a state mandate for public places issued by the governor), masks are required while visiting the gallery.

For Adults: In-person classes are open to students who are fully vaccinated by the date of the class. Proof of vaccination will be required at the door. Masking requirements will match the above policy for performances in accordance with Essex County Transmission rates and/or any state mandates issued by the governor.

For Children: Masking is required at all times. As vaccines become available to a broader range of ages, this policy may shift.

Please Note

Masks should fully cover both your mouth and nose. Face masks made of mesh, crochet (yarn) or lace, bandanas and gaiters do not meet our guidelines. We have a disposable mask for you if you need one. When masking is required, children between the age of 2-12 must wear a mask at all times.

If your temperature is 100 F° or higher or if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 we respectfully request that you do not attend the performance, class or other event. If you are experiencing symptoms, please call us at 518.523.2512 or by email and we will provide you with a full refund.

And thank you...  We know it's a challenge. We don't like these extra guidelines either. But we would feel awful if anyone got sick by attending any of our events. And, if after reading these guidelines, you have changed your mind about attending - just drop us a line. We're happy to refund your ticket purchase.
