Consider this course if you want to take your improv skills to the next level in a safe and supportive environment! This 7-week workshop is for anyone who has prior improv experience (must be approved by the instructor).
Improv-trained comedians like Amy Poehler, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig have long extolled the benefits of improv training for their creative and performance processes. However, improv classes and training are increasingly being seen as a way to improve both business and personal skills including listening, collaboration, teamwork, confidence, cooperation, creativity and sense-of-fun. In fact, Forbes, CNN and Wharton School of Business have all recently reported on the importance of utilizing improv skills in business and day-to-day personal growth. Furthermore, improv training has been incorporated at companies like Google, Ford, Hilton and Pepsico as well as Universities like Yale, UMASS, Duke and Columbia. Both on and off stage, the skills of improv are quickly being seen as the skills of life.
