A FREE event offering a place for people who've experienced loss to make simple art projects in a comfortable setting. Open to adults and children accompanied by an adult. Attendees are invited to find comfort in the company of others, experience guided grief-related reflection questions for healing, and have access to a variety of resources for continued growth.
Art - art can be meditative & healing. It can help you stay in the present. All good things while managing grief.
FULL - so called because when you're struggling with grief in its hardest moments, you feel the absence, the loss, the emptiness & numbness that is unique to you and yet universal. To address those challenges, you can focus on creating, making something out of a pile of beads, random magazines, clay, a blank canvas, and so on. There is power in actively moving forward, gaining resilience along the way.
