Sunday, October 9

• Intermediate Ballet - Level 3 (ages 9 & up)

Ballet Technique & Character Class from 2:00-4:00PM

• Advanced Ballet - Level 5 (ages 11 & up)

Ballet Technique & Pointe/Variations Class from 4:00-6:00PM

 

Monday, October 10

Combined Level Choreography Class (Intermediate & Advanced) from 11:00AM-2:00PM

 

Workshop Fees:

Two Days (Sunday & Monday) $70

Saturday Only $30 / Sunday Only $45

We accept cash, checks and Visa or Mastercard credit or debit cards.

 

Students must pre-register for the workshops. We reserve the right to cancel the workshops if there is not sufficient enrollment. Registrations should be completed by October 3, 2011. Registration forms are available at the LPCA Office.

 

Mikhail "Misha", a native of St. Petersburg, Russia, graduated from the now 273 year old renowed Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in 1998. The following year he joined the Boston Ballet for two years before moving to the Miami City Ballet where he became a principal in 2003. He has won numerous competitive awards including the Gold Medal at the International Ballet Competition "Vaganova Prix," the Silver Medal at the New York International Ballet Competition and the Bronze Medal at the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Ms.  He has taught and choreographed across the United States including the Pacific Northwest Ballet, New York Studio Maestro Ellison Ballet and Ballet Mississippi.  Last year he became a founding faculty member at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet in New York. He joined American Ballet Theatre in New York as a member of the corps de ballet in January 2008. He performs an extensive repertoire with the company today. This is his first visit to the Lake Placid region.
