Martha Gallagher Concert - Jan 21

An exuberant, down-to-Earth chanteuse with a voice thats a cross between Janis Joplin and Joan Baez, Martha Gallagher enthralls audiences with her original music that soars from soul-rippin' Blues to swingin' Jazz, from cookin' Latin to heartfelt Folk, with whispers of world, classical, and more mixed in for good measure. As if that werent enough, her instrument of choice is the HARP. Not the snooty, snoozy harp that plagues the stereotypical perception of that instrument, but a harp that is BOLD and BEAUTIFUL!
An imaginative poet,a mezmerizing storyteller and versatile actress as well, Marthas performances go beyond concert and orbit in the realm of a one-woman show that leaves you feeling alive! Special guests include recording/performing artist percussionist Brian Melick and internationally renowned dancer/mime/actress Karen Montanaro. For more info, visit www.adkharper.com.
